Why does my heart feel so bad…
I know why it feels so bad, because I want to get over something quick-smart, and I can’t…. and because I can’t, it’s hurting someone (well, more than one person) a great deal.
Everyone who’s known me for a long time knows my lag time….. Ain’t it’s not on the short side that’s for sure….
This is probably why Matt and I have been best friends for so long, we can let things brew for (literally) years before we reach any kinds of conclusions….. and that’s just fine with us….
I don’t want to cause hurt anymore, I frankly don’t think i’m worth it (go the low self-esteem in that little statement!), and i’m doing everything in my power to stop it. But some demons take longer to kill than others.
Here’s hoping that they see light at the end of the tunnel before we all get taken out by a train.
